County purchases 24 laptops for high schools

More high school students will have access to computers after the Tipton County Commission announced the appropriation of $24,000 in grant money during its monthly meeting Monday night. Thanks to a grant from the Ritter Communications Foundation, the county will purchase 24 laptops to be used at Brighton, Covington and Munford high schools. SandStorm IT won the bid at $514 per computer.
