Now You Can Watch Local High School Sports From Anywhere Through Ritter Communications
JONESBORO, AR - Tubetown, the local content and coverage channel of Ritter Communications, is proud to announce a new partnership with the National Federation of State High School Associations Network (NFHSN) that provides an online presence for high school sports broadcasts in west Tennessee and northeast Arkansas starting with the 2016 high school football season.
“Whether you live outside of a Ritter Communications TV service area or you have an out-of-state relative that wants to watch their favorite young athlete, you can now access Tubetown’s coverage of high school sports whenever you want,” said Marcus Carlton, Tubetown Local Content Manager. “NFHSN is like Netflix for high school sports, with games from across the country available on-demand. This is an exciting partnership for us.”
This season, Tubetown will telecast 15 area high school football games, and each of the productions will be streamed live on NFHSnetwork.com. Fans can purchase a subscription for $9.95 per month, which will give them access to the live streams and immediate replays. NFHS Network content is available for all subscribers for free 72 hours after airing live.
The majority of Tubetown’s productions will also air live on west Tennessee channel 11 and northeast Arkansas channel 21, while the live broadcast of three of the Arkansas broadcasts will be available online only. Tubetown will air replays of all 15 games on its cable channels, and all Tubetown sporting events will be archived online via NFHSnetwork.com and TubetownOnline.com. In addition to the live games, subscribers can also watch highlights, replays and more on NFHSnetwork.com.
“Online access to games is simple,” said Carlton. “Viewers just visit tubetownonline.com and follow the banner ad to NFHSnetwork.com. From there they can get access to live high school football games from their laptop or computer, and even on-the-go from a mobile device or tablet. All you need is a stable internet connection to access the website.”
Downloadable games can also be purchased for $4.95 each, and for $20, Ritter will mail a DVD copy of any game straight to your home. Visit tubetownonline.com to download games or order DVDs.
Tubetown’s 2016 football kicks off in Tennessee on Friday, Aug. 19 with the Munford-Covington game. On Aug. 26, Tubetown will air the “M&M Bowl” rivalry game between Millington and Munford. Tubetown’s Arkansas coverage gets underway on Sept. 2 with Newport at Gosnell.
